In PR of China, our Shanghai liaison office was set up on 1993, handling our own vessels calling in China ports during the past eleven (11) years. Therefore, contacts, links and good personal relationships have been developed with respective agents and port authorities in China ports.

As a matter of fact under regulation of China at present, all foreign vessels calling in China ports are consigned to use compulsorily on of the state controlled agents. Most of the owners/charterers utilize the service of a Hong Kong or Taiwan based shipping company to act as their representatives or protecting agent for their vessels calling in China ports. The consideration which indicate the need for ships’ principals as following reasons:
Estimation and minimum of port disbursements/handling charges/stevedoring expenses, etc.
Port captain/boarding operator attend vessels every day during vessels at port to supervise the (un)loading operations of cargo, prompt daily report submit to principals.
Disbursements remittance through Taiwan office, ensuring safe and prompt arrival of funds as well as secured refund of any credit balance.
“Quick dispatch agreement” (QDA), the vessels are arranged into an official agreement with the port authority through China state agents for a quick alongside, quick loading or unloading of the cargo.
Arrangement of crew manning, marine consultant, repairs, ship chandling jobs etc on behalf of Owners.
We hope that you will consider this proposal and looking forward to serve the requirements and/or instructions of your esteemed company in Taiwan and PR China ports in the nearest future.
